U P D A T E S, C H A N G E S,   &   E X P E C T A T I O N S 

 

Due to the Global Pandemic of COVID-19, we have transitioned to complete online training for our students. All of our meetings, tutoring sessions and consultations will be hosted primarily by the virtual platform, Zoom. 

​

We understand that educational support is important to you, as it is a priority for us. We have dedicated our time and resources to make this learning experience as smooth and effective as possible.

 

Upon scheduling your online tutoring session, we require a consultation meeting with the student. If the student is in Secondary Education, we require the Parent/Guardian to be present at the initial consultation. During each consultation, we submit a diagnostic assessment, to target the areas of study we will focus on while tutoring. We will then proceed with the scheduled tutoring session. Because we will be meeting our students online, we recommend and welcome our Parent/s and/or Guardian/s, to be present at the first and/or second tutoring session. We understand that we are not your student’s primary teacher and we want to make each student as comfortable as possible, during their session. It will totally be the decision of the student/parent to continue each segment with their presence; as we want each student to display progression.

 

 

W H A T’ S   N E W?

 

Over the years we have always tried to include a critical thinking assignment to stimulate our student’s mind, encouraging them to think forward. We introduced an Accelerated Program. In each tutoring session without the student knowing, we will render an upper grade level assignment. This measures their comprehensive skills and ability. We want all of our students to excel, while simultaneously, preparing them for what’s next.

 

WHY WE DO THIS?

 

Typically, we find that being introduced to next-level coursework alleviates students’ intimidation and anxiety of facing their upcoming academic school-year. With so many uncertainties of what to expect, knowing that they have conquered a major challenge of “new information,” they are a step ahead with confidence. We encourage our students to achieve their highest level of education possible. It never fails, once they realize they have successfully completed upper-level work, they are always amazed of their intellectual abilities. T H E   N E X T   S T E P

 

Scheduling tutoring sessions has never been easier. After your initial contact with a TutorCentral representative, students/parents will schedule the initial consultation. Once the consultation is scheduled, an email correspondence will be sent requesting documentation and details in preparation of the meeting. A student diagnostic assignment will be rendered at the time of the consultation. During the consultation the tutor will review the student’s enrollment and discuss a game-plan for the upcoming session/s. Once the consultation is complete, tutoring sessions will be scheduled accordingly.

 

 

T U I T I O N

 

Gladly, times have changed for the better! We have multiple ways we can receive your tuition. We accept credit/debit card transactions through our Electronic Registration link. Please allow at least 24 hours for your payment to fully process.

 

 

A non-refundable sitting fee of $50 is required to schedule your initial consultation. The date of consultation will be confirmed via email. All of our tutoring sessions are prepaid and are completed in 2-hour intervals. Currently, each session is $60 per hour. All tuition and consultation fees are final.

 

If you need to cancel your session for any reason, please contact us as within 24 hours. If you need to reschedule your tutoring session, you will receive an email with the next available date. If you need to postpone your tutoring session for a specified period of time, we will reconvene at a designated date/time; which will require a renewal service form. If you would like to end your segment entirely before the official  end date, you must submit your request in writing via email.

 

All consultations and tutoring sessions can be rescheduled by the Director/Tutor with or without notice.
